1 · What's in the case

Robot (folded) · battery (packed separately) · charger · cables · user manual · remote (joysticks ship detached — screw on clockwise until tight) · model-dependent spare hands. Lay the case flat, front-side up.

2 · Lift out — two people, powered off

Person A takes the legs, Person B takes the arms at the wrists — A pulls first, B second. Lay it flat, face-up on the ground, pelvis square. Keep hands off the hip and knee joints (pinch hazard).

3 · Boot up — lay-flat start (the default)

Battery in → power on. Slide to the click, switch facing the robot's back. Short press, then long press (2+ s).

Wait ~1 minute. Limbs go limp — that is normal (zero-torque). Slow blue = booting, colour change = ready.

Damping — L2 + B. The safe state. Lift an arm to check: it should now resist you. Never skip this.

Stand up — L2 + X (Lie → Stand). From flat the robot rises on its own; a spotter stays within arm's reach.

Walk — R1 + X. Click START = stand in place; the sticks now drive it. Low speed: double-click L2 (always for demos).

Function check away from any crowd — a few steps, look around, one wave (SELECT + Y). All good → go.

Chair start (alternative): power on → L2 + B damping → L2 + ↑ Locked Standing. Buttons follow the card printed on your remote — it is the authority.

4 · Safety must-knows

Two people, always when powered — one operates, one spots with a hand ready.
Never leave it standing — a standing robot that loses power falls. Keep a spotter within arm's reach.
Never power off while standing — sit or squat it first, then damping, then power off.
Keep ≥ 2 m clear of people and obstacles. Flat, dry, non-slip floor only — not waterproof, not dustproof.
Charge the battery out of the robot, switched off — never a hot battery. A swollen battery is scrap; isolate it.

5 · Shut down & repack

Click START to stop stepping → L2 + ↓ Seated (or L2 + A Squat on the floor), assisting by hand → L2 + B damping → power off (short press, long press) → battery out → two-person repack, head in first.
